Effortlessly open letters and packages while elevating your deskscape with a piece of functional art. The unique design of our new Duo Desk Knife features two symmetrical chisel ground knives held together with neodymium magnets. Both a conversation piece and a multi-purpose tool, the knives snap together and apart with satisfying ease, and can function as a letter opener, box cutter, and even scissors.

Designed in collaboration with custom knife maker Wes Crawford, the Duo Desk Knife will be available in Wharncliffe or Spear Point blade shapes and features two unique CNC machined handle patterns and a comfortable finger groove for the ideal grip. Each individual knife is the optimal thickness for daily desktop cutting tasks. A premium walnut and stainless steel stand is included to elegantly display your knives and keep them in easy reach.

Warning: Blades are very sharp. Always maintain awareness of the cutting edges. Exercise caution when separating, handling or using the blades. This is not a toy; keep out of reach of children. This product contains neodymium (rare earth) magnets and may affect internal medical devices (such as pacemakers). Keep away from electronic devices.

How it Works

The secret is in the magnets and the circular pivot design. To separate the knives, carefully spin one side of the knife from the base of the handle. To reattach, align the center handle pivot and spin the handles back into alignment.

Always separate and reattach the knives from the handle, keeping your fingers away from the edges of the blades.
